Partner Teresa Arruda Alvim was present when the book “Civil Enforcement: New Tendencies, a tribute to Professor Arruda Alvim” was launched. She was one of the coordinators of the book. The event took place on June 7th, at the Superior Court of Justice.



The other coordinators of the work were also present: Justice Marco Aurélio Bellizze, of the Superior Court of Justice, and Judges Aluísio Gonçalves de Castro Mendes and Trícia Navarro Xavier Cabral. Other Justices and authorities were also present, honoring the event.

This Friday, June 10th, partner Teresa Arruda Alvim will give a lecture at an event organized by the University of Trento (Italy), to celebrate one year of the creation of the publication “Giustizia Consensuale”.



She will discuss how lawyers should approach mediation, seeing it as a good solution

for clients in many cases. The presentation is based on an article she co-authored with Marcio Bellocchi, drafted for the first issue of the publication.

Arruda Alvim, Aragão, Lins & Sato partner David Pereira Cardoso and attorney Bruno Henrique Kons Franco have recently participated of the tenth edition of “The Government Procurement Review”, published by The Law Reviews, by means of an article that offers a general overview on the treatment given to public contracts in Brazil, duly updated according to recently enacted law 14.133/2021. The article is part of the book which covers the subject on 14 jurisdictions, including Germany, the United States, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
