Em outubro de 2018, o sócio Smith Barreni participou do 2º Seminário sobre Teoria Comunicacional do Direito e Constructivismo Lógico-Semântico, realizado na Universidade de Bologna - Scuola Europea Alti Studi Tributari, Itália.
O evento, organizado pelo Prof. Paulo de Barros Carvalho (IBET), contou com a presença de professores que são referência no estudo do Direito Tributário e Teoria Geral do Direito, tais como: Gregorio Robles, Riccardo Guastini, Ugo Volli, Adriano Di Pietro, Roque Antonio Carrazza e Betina T. Grupenmacher.
Durante o encontro, o sócio apresentou o trabalho intitulado “Repetição de indébito tributário e compensação sob a perspectiva do Constructivismo Lógico Semântico”, que teve por objeto a análise das formas de restituição à luz do papel que a linguagem exerce no processo comunicacional, e, consequentemente, na construção da realidade jurídica.
In October of 2018, our partner Smith Barreni attended the 2nd Workshop about the Theory of Law Communication and Logical-Semantic Constructivism, which took place in the University of Bologna - Scuola Europea Alti Studi Tributari, in Italy.
The event, organized by Professor Paulo de Barros Carvalho (IBET), gathered several iconic scholars in Tax and General Theory of Law, including professors Gregorio Robles, Riccardo Guastini, Ugo Volli, Adriano Di Pietro, Roque Antonio Carrazza and Betina T. Grupenmacher.
During the event, our partner spoke about “Tax recovery of undue payments, and compensation under the perspective of the Logical-Semantic Constructivism”, which aimed to analyze the possibilities of recovery, observing the role that language exerts in the comunication process and, consequently, in the construction of a legal reality.
